Lynn moved to Berkeley in 1960 to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with her baby on her hip and a double major in Russian and History. She taught in the Berkeley Public Schools for over a dozen years during the school desegregation years, and raised her family here. She finally pursued her life long dream of legal activism. She graduated from Golden Gate University Law School with honors. Lynn has practiced law in the areas of workers compensation, civil litigation, and estate planning. She is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law of the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California.
